We loved the movie, the music and the actors, the movie is easy to watch and we where hooked from beginning till end. Actually we wachted it twice. The Night Comes for US aus dem jahr 2019 okaaaay (unten steht 2018. Ich guck mir den Film für Thomallas Arsch vielleicht mal an wenn ich nichts zutun habe, aber sonst packt mich da auf den ersten Blick jetzt nichts wirklich. Somit wäre auch geklärt warum sie da überhaupt mitspielt - für die paar extra Zuschauer wie mich lol.

It is a cheap version of Wolf of Wall Street, with mediocre direction, one dimentional characters and mostly bad acting. The main character is supposed to be a charismatic, sly and goodlooking Leo DiCaprio type of guy, but doesn't deliver on that.
And don't even get me started on the script and the cringeworthy dialogues.
Subtlety isn't this film's strenght. But then again, not much is.

The script and the screenplay overall were terrible. Everything about the movie felt rushed, the dialogues, the scenes, the cuts. The conversation in the pool for example contains 29 cuts in more or less a minute of time.
The characters are given very little to no time to develop and the plot in general just rolls out so shallowly it makes it almost impossible to feel with the characters.
Relationships between characters are so incredibly week and are just being developed at light speed, aided by an onslaught of cuts in every scene. For example it is almost crongy to hear Viktor say to his daughter on tape "I miss your smile" after the two were literally not given one second of screentime together. He was never even shown holding her once and now he misses her smile? How are viewers supposed to engage with that or feel for that?
Overall a very disappointing movie. Feel sorry for the actors since they were the only decent part about it.

Bin ich der Einzige Der findet das das Etwas Zu übertrieben ist und Nicht Wirklich Mehr F&F ist Sondern iegendein Action und SciencFiction Movie ist😐. Ich fand ihn überraschenderweise sehr gut. Vlt 20 min zu lang. Geschwindigkeit, gute Kampfchoreos und heftig gute Kamerafahrten. Würde ich in einen Topf mit 96 Hours und John Wick werfen.

Bei anderen Filmen lobt er immer lange Onetakes, hier wird es nicht Mal wirklich bemerkt, sondern lieber nach Makeln gesucht. Mir persönlich hat der Film ziemlich gut gefallen, war nicht umwerfend aber eher eine 7,5 als 6,5 oder gar 4 von 10.

Der war echt hammer für einen deutschen Film und ich bin generell gar kein Fan von deutschen Filmen 🎥 Auch hier sieht man wozu gier, hochmut und falsche Liebe führen kann...
